40 Plus Records presents Great Moments in Music!
Singers, musicians and entertainers showcasing their talent of music and songs of various artists we have cherished throughout the years, and whose music is forever in demand. The time period primarily focuses on the 70’s and 80’s. With Special Guests Jesse Thomas, Tillie M. Harris and Ron Thomas (formerly the "Road Manager" for the legendary Mr. Johnnie Taylor)

"Holiday Themed Film Festival"

This will be our 3rd film festival showcasing films by filmmakers of African-American descent. Films should be centered around a “Holiday Theme;” i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, comedy, drama, spoof, etc. We are dedicated to promoting and supporting independent filmmakers and discovering films that otherwise many of us would never see.

Artists: Thomas Weddle, Ashley Frye, Dennis Webb, Jr. and Beth Ritter-Perry

Exhibition in the Main Gallery featuring the works of Thomas Weddle, Ashley Frye, Dennis Webb, Jr. and others. This annual event is designed to give African-American visual artists a venue and opportunity to display their talent. This event promotes excellence and diversity in the arts and increases the awareness and appreciation of African-American artist in the local community.

"Literary Café/Spoken Word"

Joy Lewis with Joy and Company will moderate a wonderful evening for IBAC with a mission of promoting great local authors and literature as a means to bridge the literary gap. Ms. Lewis is a former IBAC member and now has her own talk radio and award show promoting Christian authors.

"BlacK London" - A Children’s Musical Play
Producer: LaRome Armstrong

This is an original play written by LaRome Armstrong in 1998. It focuses on the on-going fight for freedom and justice for people of African descent in London, England. All roles are played by children between the ages of 6 to 12 years old. The play includes songs and original dance routines all choreographed by Mr. Armstrong. The play has been called a family favorite by many.
